Description For ATE Test Development Engineer

We are seeking a creative ATE Test Development Engineer to join NVIDIA, a company at the forefront of technological advancement. As the "AI computing company," NVIDIA has continuously reinvented itself over three decades, from inventing the GPU to revolutionizing parallel computing and now leading in AI.

Your role will involve transferring GPU, Tegra, and Automotive products from design to mass production. You'll work on various aspects of building and testing NVIDIA products, collaborating with overseas manufacturing teams to improve yields, test coverage, capacity, and reduce production costs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining, developing, implementing, and supporting ATE test program bringup, characterization, and production for latest GPU/Tegra/Automotive products
  • Constructing and enhancing test methods, debugging, and integrating timings/levels/patterns/TM and test flow
  • Owning test methodologies and improving production test program quality/efficiency
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to debug product failures and implement optimal solutions
  • Writing and maintaining scripts/tools to enhance the test engineering group's productivity

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering/Computer Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience in IC Design, application, or ATE testing of VLSI
  • Working knowledge and hands-on experience with Advantest 93K ATE platform
  • Critical thinking, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Excellent debugging and analytical skills
  • Understanding of DFT insertion techniques

Preferred skills:

  • Analog circuit design, PLL's
  • System level testing/validation
  • Knowledge of active thermal management
  • Product engineering experience
  • Linux operating systems and programming languages (Perl/Python, C/C++, Java)
