Description For Hardware SoC Architect - New College Grad 2025

NVIDIA is seeking a high-quality architect for their Clock and Reset Architecture Team within the Tegra Architecture team. This role requires an interest in clocks, resets, and power management for SOCs, along with a strong background in System C-modeling and scripting. The position involves working with diverse teams to model and define clock and reset architecture based on IP requirements. Responsibilities include developing and improving architectural C-models, capturing architectural requirements in documents, reviewing specifications and verification plans, and implementing methodologies to improve team efficiency.

Key requirements:

  • Masters or PhD in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong knowledge of clock generation and distribution
  • Strong knowledge of reset generation and distribution
  • Good knowledge of ASIC design/verification/implementation flows
  • Excellent written, verbal, and negotiation skills
  • Excellent analytical and independent problem-solving skills
  • Strong scripting skills in languages such as Perl or Python
  • C++/SystemC experience

Additional advantages:

  • Detailed knowledge of PLLs, DLLs, etc.
