NVIDIA is seeking an exceptional Manager for their Tegra Architecture Team to drive the development of future high-performance, power-efficient SOC (System on Chip) processors. This role offers the opportunity to have real impact in a dynamic, technology-focused company developing state-of-the-art processor and system architectures for 3D graphics, deep learning, HPC (High Performance Computing), and automotive markets.
The Manager, SoC Architecture will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality architecture working across teams like design, verification, physical design, marketing, software & others.
- Identifying key areas for architectural improvements and developing new features.
- Understanding performance & power modeling/analysis and implications.
- Driving improvements to architecture development processes.
- Industry standards tracking & 3rd party IP technical evaluation.
Key requirements include:
- Masters or PhD degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 10+ years of overall architecture experience with at least 5 years managing a team or projects.
- Excellent leadership capabilities to grow a team and drive execution of a chip project.
- Expertise in SoC architecture definition including various components and technologies.
- Strong communication skills at all levels of architecture definition.
Additional desirable skills:
- Automotive Functional Safety expertise, working experience with ISO26262 standard.
- Experience with a breadth of System Architectures and management in different areas of chip design.
- Inventions in domains relevant to SoC architecture.
