Perception Engineer - Autonomous Driving

NVIDIA, known as "the AI computing company," is seeking a Perception Engineer for Autonomous Driving to join their China TSE Deep Learning team. This role involves working on research, design, and implementation of software features for autonomous driving perception, including DNN models acceleration optimization and deployment. The ideal candidate will have a BS/MS in Computer Science/EE, strong programming skills in C++/Python, and extensive knowledge of ML/DL techniques for Computer Vision and autonomous driving. Key responsibilities include improving the autonomous driving perception SW stack, evaluating DNNs, and developing solutions for computer vision DNN models. The role requires at least 3 years of experience in the DNN area and a willingness to work in Shanghai. Key Responsibilities:

• Improve autonomous driving perception SW stack
• Evaluate and analyze DNNs for autonomous driving
• Develop solutions for computer vision DNN models acceleration and deployment
• Work on research, design, and implementation of software features for customer performance targets

Requirements:

• BS/MS in Computer Science/EE or related field
• Strong C++/Python programming skills
• Extensive knowledge of ML/DL techniques for Computer Vision and autonomous driving
• At least 3 years of experience in the DNN area
• Familiarity with perception stack for autonomous driving (camera/radar/ultrasonic/parking/wait condition perception/multiple sensor fusion)
• Self-motivated attitude and willingness to learn
• Located in or willing to relocate to Shanghai

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in DNN development and network acceleration
• Familiarity with GPU computing, NVIDIA CUDA, and NVIDIA TensorRT
