As a Senior Applications Engineer for AI in Chemistry and Materials Discovery at NVIDIA, you will:
- Interact directly with industrial customers and researchers to adopt NVIDIA's platform for accelerating their AI driven workflows or models.
- Profile AI applications/models, run benchmarks to identify bottlenecks and make recommendations on possible solutions.
- Build proof-of-concepts and examples for collaborations, demos, and tutorials.
- Collaborate on whitepapers and technical blogs.
- Help define the roadmap for new features in NVIDIA's AI software stack.
- Participate and present at top AI/ML workshops and industry conferences.
Requirements:
- Masters or PhD in computational physics, chemistry, materials science, computer science or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years hands-on experience with AI/ML models on GPU platforms for chemistry/materials applications.
- Experience in HPC and understanding of GPU architectures.
- Excellent coding skills (e.g., C++) and experience with deep learning frameworks.
- Strong communication and debugging skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a globally distributed team.
