NVIDIA, a leader in accelerated computing, is seeking a Senior Boot and Security Architect for their Tegra team. This role is crucial in developing outstanding solutions for automotive, embedded, and mobile spaces through low-power, high-performance Tegra System On Chips.
As a System Architect in the Architecture team, you'll be responsible for inventing, developing, and solving state-of-the-art boot architecture problems. Your responsibilities will include:
- Defining and specifying System on Chip Boot sequences from reset
- Defining BootROM software flows
- Applying crypto algorithms to secure boot sequences
- Specifying complex hardware and software interactions
- Performing architecture validation and use-case analysis
- Platform modeling of hardware-software interactions
- Developing validation tools for next-generation secure boot software
You'll work with multiple cross-functional teams, including Architecture, Security, ASIC design, Software, Product/Marketing, and customer-facing teams.
The ideal candidate will have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science (Master's preferred)
- 10+ years of work experience in SOC System Architecture
- Experience in C++ development and embedded software
- Strong knowledge of processor architecture, system bus architecture, and ARM processor-based fundamentals
- Expertise in low power architecture and reset/boot architecture for complex SOCs
- Exposure to security architecture and applied cryptography (a plus)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent hardware modeling skills
- Strong communication skills and ability to work across multi-geographical teams
