As a Senior Deep Learning Performance Architect, you'll be responsible for developing innovative architectures, analyzing performance trade-offs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to advance both hardware and software solutions for deep learning.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation with at least 6 years of experience, combining expertise in GPU architecture, deep learning, and performance optimization. You'll work with leading frameworks like PyTorch and JAX, and have the opportunity to influence the direction of NVIDIA's AI computing platforms.

This role offers a competitive compensation package, including a base salary range of $184,000 to $356,500, plus equity and comprehensive benefits. Based in either Santa Clara, CA or Redmond, WA, you'll be part of a team that's driving the future of AI computing, working on real-time, efficient computing platforms that are revolutionizing how machines learn, perceive, and solve problems.

Responsibilities For Senior Deep Learning Performance Architect

  • Develop innovative architectures to extend the state of the art in deep learning performance and efficiency
  • Analyze performance, cost and power trade-offs by developing analytical models, simulators and test suites
  • Understand and analyze the interplay of hardware and software architectures on future algorithms
  • Develop, analyze, and harness groundbreaking Deep Learning frameworks, libraries, and compilers
  • Actively collaborate with software, product and research teams to guide the direction of deep learning HW and SW

Requirements For Senior Deep Learning Performance Architect

Python
  • MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years of meaningful work experience
  • Strong background in GPU or Deep Learning ASIC architecture for training and/or inference
  • Experience with performance modeling, architecture simulation, profiling, and analysis
  • Solid foundation in machine learning and deep learning
  • Strong programming skills in Python, C, C++
