This role sits at the intersection of cutting-edge GPU technology and energy efficiency, focusing on developing hyper-efficient GPU and SOC architectures for AI, Automotive, Graphics, and Mobile products. The position offers the opportunity to work with world-class engineers on emerging GPU and AI technologies.

The role involves architecting and innovating low power solutions for NVIDIA's Desktop, Notebook, and server platforms. You'll be responsible for developing energy-efficient features, conducting architectural studies, and creating accurate power and performance models. Working cross-functionally with System/SW Architects and Product engineers, you'll drive critical decisions that impact product performance and energy efficiency.

Responsibilities For Senior GPU Low Power Architect

  • Invent and innovate low power architectural/RTL solutions for Desktop, Notebook and server platforms
  • Work cross functionally with System/SW Architects and Product engineers
  • Architect, Design and Verify features to improve battery life and energy efficiency
  • Participate in architectural studies and tradeoff analysis
  • Develop techniques for accurate power and performance models
  • Drive performance vs power analysis for product decisions

Requirements For Senior GPU Low Power Architect

Python
  • MSEE/MSCE (or equivalent experience) and 4+ years' experience or PhD
  • Experience with SystemVerilog RTL, UVM, Verdi, UPF, VCS NLP, Python, C++
  • Cross-discipline experience with HW/SW/System level interactions
  • Understanding of advanced digital and analog circuits
  • Experience with lab setup including power measurement equipment
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
