Senior Logic Design Engineer– Physical Design

We are seeking a Senior Logic Design Engineer with a Physical Design background to join our CPU Logic Design Team. In this role, you will be responsible for the design of CPU on-chip interconnect networks and last-level caches, working closely with the physical design team on implementation, synthesis, and timing closure. You'll also contribute to micro-architectural definition and RTL coding/debug.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as a liaison between Logic design and Physical design teams
• Achieve timing, area, performance, and power goals for the unit
• Help define the architecture for next-generation NVIDIA coherent interconnects and system-level caches
• Collaborate with the verification team to ensure design correctness

Requirements:

• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of experience in processor or related high-performance semiconductor designs
• Physical design expertise, including hands-on synthesis experience
• In-depth knowledge of industry-standard physical design tools
• Background in high-speed interconnect/cache physical design (preferred)
• Verilog expertise and deep understanding of ASIC design flow
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a dynamic, global team environment

NVIDIA offers a competitive base salary range of $164,000 - $304,750 USD, with the final offer determined based on location, experience, and comparison to similar positions. Employees are also eligible for equity and comprehensive benefits.
