Responsibilities For Senior Physical Design Methodology Engineer

  • Develop physical design methodologies for graphics processors and SOCs implementation
  • Create solutions for state-of-the-art physical design problems for NVIDIA chips
  • Develop flow and tool methodologies for chip floorplan, waveguide routing, pcell development, chip assembly, and back-end verification
  • Work on development and layout of novel integrated photonic devices
  • Conduct chip layout circuit design, circuit checking, and device evaluation

Requirements For Senior Physical Design Methodology Engineer

Python
Linux
  • MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years experience in Physical Design Engineering
  • Knowledge of chip design including Floor planning, Clock and Power distribution, Place and Route, Integration and Verification
  • Strong background with hierarchical design approach, top-down design
  • Familiarity with process related design issues including Design for Yield and Manufacturability
  • Expertise in industry standard EDA tools
  • Proficiency in programming and scripting languages (Perl, Python, C++)
