NVIDIA is seeking a technical leader for a Senior Security Research Architect role focused on Confidential Computing in networking products. The ideal candidate will lead, research, design, develop, and implement architecture solutions meeting internal and external security requirements and standards. They will apply innovative security primitives to enable next-generation secure platforms and collaborate across the company to guide the direction of Confidential Computing within NVIDIA products.
Key responsibilities include:
- Architectural modeling, validation, and microarchitectural definition
- Following standards bodies and developing infrastructure for trusted platforms using hardware security methods
- Working with customers and partners to identify and address security issues and threats
- Extending networking protocols to support confidential computing in next-generation networking products
Requirements:
- MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- First-hand work experience with Trusted Execution Technologies (e.g., AMD SEV, Intel TDX, Intel SGX) on hardware and software levels
- Expertise in computing platform security, threat models, and mitigation techniques
- Knowledge of Trusted Execution Environment and isolation techniques
- Proficiency in profiling and modeling isolation architectures
- Experience in performance evaluation of secure systems
- Familiarity with Trusted Computing attestation methods and networking/storage protocols (IB, RDMA, NVMe)
- Programming skills in Verilog, Python/Perl scripting, ARM assembly, and C/C++
- Strong communication skills and passion for teamwork
- Background in network security protocols, formal methods, and verification
