NVIDIA is expanding its on-road testing activities in Europe and is seeking a strong Software Engineer to define, maintain, and manage AV software testing for their vehicle fleet in Europe. This role requires deep understanding of Automotive architectures, strong experience in Vehicle build-up, and the ability to coordinate testing work and communication between NVIDIA and customer teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting on-site adaptation and deployment of NVIDIA vehicle automation software in customer vehicles
- Efficient and detailed reporting of discovered issues
- Close collaboration with Functions, Software, and Hardware teams to resolve field issues promptly
The ideal candidate should have:
- A degree in engineering or computer science-related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of relevant working experience
- Strong embedded knowledge and experience in Linux/QNX environments
- Test process/flow with software debugging skills in Linux
- Strong knowledge of ADAS functions from sensor perception to actuation
- Experience in vehicle buildup & maintenance and scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.)
- Understanding of vehicle architecture and communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
- Experience with various sensor technologies (lidar, radar, cameras)
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Willingness for vehicle testing drives and European travel
- Valid European driving license
Additional desirable qualities include:
- Experience as an ADAS software engineer at a Tier 1 or OEM
- Familiarity with NVIDIA DRIVE AGX Platform and DRIVE PDK
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety standards (e.g., ASPICE, ISO26262, FMVSS, EuroNCAP)
- Experience in component/system integration, testing, and verification
- Certified test driver experience in Europe
