AI Engineer Intern, Agents

Occam AI is seeking an AI Engineer Intern to join their mission of breathing life into software by giving it action-taking abilities. The company is leveraging recent advances in generative models, reinforcement learning, and symbolic AI to create autonomous software agents.

As an AI Engineer Intern, you'll have the opportunity to build state-of-the-art experience in generative model architectures. You'll own challenging end-to-end generative model focused problems. The role involves working with researchers to extend the company's generative model prompting architecture, implementing a ground-truth data collection platform for fine-tuning generative action models, and extending reference tools and datasets for integration into automated reasoning systems.

Ideal candidates should have evidence of exceptional ability, real-world ML development experience, and potentially publications in top deep learning venues (ICLR, NeurIPS, ICML, CCVPR). Experience with generative model architectures, including Retrieval Augmented Generation, Graph Learning, AI agents, and tree-search augmented LLMs is a plus.
