DB Engineer

Octopol's is seeking a DB Engineer to ensure the availability, reliability, performance, and security of their databases. The role involves monitoring and optimizing database performance, implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions, managing database security, and participating in database design and development projects. Key responsibilities include:

1. Monitoring and optimizing database performance
2. Planning and implementing high availability and disaster recovery solutions
3. Managing database security, including data encryption
4. Performing database maintenance
5. Participating in database design and development projects
6. Sharing knowledge with the team and community
7. Supporting different departments on data preparation

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with SQL Server, query tuning, and working on both application and infrastructure sides. They should have a solid understanding of T-SQL, experience with database replication and migration, and be service-oriented with excellent communication skills.
