Staff/Principal Software Engineer, Independent Software Vendor Marketplace

Okta, The World's Identity Company, is seeking a Staff/Principal Software Engineer to join their Independent Software Vendor Marketplace team in Bengaluru, India. This role is part of a new initiative to help B2B/Enterprise SaaS companies showcase their integrations with the Okta Integration Network (OIN) platform through a full-featured catalog while driving engagement through sophisticated analytics and telemetry.

The position involves redesigning the technical architecture and user experience of the OIN catalog to accommodate multiple integration categories and building analytical tools to encourage ISV participation. As a staff-level engineer, you'll be working on developer-facing products, building secure components, and developing APIs that other developers will love to use.

The ideal candidate should have 8-12+ years of software development experience with strong proficiency in backend technologies like Java, C#, or TypeScript, and frontend frameworks like React. Experience with distributed systems, cloud platforms, and database technologies is essential. The role requires excellent communication skills and a track record of delivering incremental improvements.
