The position offers a competitive salary range of $96,000 to $132,000 per year, along with health insurance benefits. This is a contract position with a Monday to Friday schedule, occasionally requiring weekend work. The job is based in Santa Monica, CA, and requires in-person presence.

Responsibilities For Software Engineer - Shopify Expert
- Design and implement front-end architecture using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript and introduce modern technologies
- Develop and maintain web-based solutions from inception to deployment adhering to industry best practices and standard architectures
- Work closely with the design team to ensure the user interface is user-friendly and responsive
- Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
- Collaborate with the IT team to deploy applications to production
- Work independently and proactively identify opportunities to improve code base and development practices
- Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in software development
- Utilize software engineering tools proficiently
Requirements For Software Engineer - Shopify Expert
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software engineering
- 7-10 years experience as a Software Engineer developing web applications/solutions/Shopify
- 5-7 years experience with Shopify Apps and Solutions
- 5-7 years in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- 5-7 years experience with Databases such as MS SQL, MySQL
- 3-4 years experience with consumption of web services (JSON, REST, XML/SOAP)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
