Analytics Engineer, Finance

OpenAI is seeking an Analytics Engineer to join their Finance Data team within the CFO Organization. This role offers an exciting opportunity to build internal data products that scale analytics across business teams and drive operational efficiencies. As an early member of the Finance Data team, you'll be instrumental in establishing the foundation for analytics scaling and best data practices implementation in a rapidly growing organization.

The position requires a seasoned professional with 5+ years of experience who can manage business-critical ETL pipelines and work with non-technical teams like Strategic Finance and Revenue Operations. You'll be responsible for understanding stakeholder needs, developing self-service data products, maintaining data marts, and creating executive-level dashboards.

The role combines technical expertise in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools with strong business acumen and communication skills. You'll work in a hybrid environment (3 days in office) in San Francisco, with competitive compensation including a $255K base salary plus equity and comprehensive benefits.
