The role operates on a hybrid work model with 3 days in the office per week, and OpenAI offers relocation assistance. A key requirement is bilingual fluency in Japanese and English, as you'll be working with both local and international teams. The position involves up to 50% travel, embedding deeply with customers to understand their technical requirements and business challenges.
As an FDE, you'll be responsible for designing and developing full-stack solutions, preparing detailed project plans, and working hands-on with customer technical teams. You'll collaborate across multiple internal teams including Sales, Technical Success, and Applied teams to ensure project success and gather product feedback. The role requires expertise in both front-end (React/Next.js) and back-end (Python/Node.js) development, along with knowledge of cloud platforms and ML/AI solutions.
