Software Engineer, ChatGPT Enterprise

The ChatGPT team at OpenAI works across research, engineering, product, and design to bring OpenAI's technology to consumers and businesses. As a Software Engineer for ChatGPT Enterprise, you will help build and deploy the ChatGPT Enterprise product, which has shown to drive up to 30% more productivity in knowledge work.

Your role will involve:

• Building a secure, governable, scalable foundation that earns customer trust
• Packaging OpenAI's technology for enterprise buyers
• Shipping 0-1 products that give users 10x abilities in specific enterprise domains
• Partnering with researchers, engineers, product managers, and designers
• Accelerating engineering productivity through excellent tooling and systems
• Creating an inclusive culture while enabling radical candor
• Participating in on-call rotation for critical incidents

Ideal candidates will have:

• Experience building production systems for new product capabilities and increasing scale
• Focus on end-user experience and solving customer needs
• Humble attitude and eagerness to help colleagues
• Ability to own problems end-to-end and acquire necessary knowledge
• Experience as a startup founder or early-stage engineer is a plus
