Senior Backend Engineer (Python + Django, LATAM)

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Optery, you'll be joining a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment where you'll have direct impact on the product and technical direction. The role requires expertise in Python and Django, with a focus on scalable backend development. You'll be working with a modern tech stack including Django REST framework, Celery, Redis, PostgreSQL, and various NoSQL databases. The position involves building and maintaining critical infrastructure that helps protect users' private information from data brokers and potential security threats.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and implementing scalable backend components
• Working with asynchronous job processing systems
• Managing database architecture and performance
• Implementing secure API integrations
• Contributing to the microservices architecture using Kubernetes
• Ensuring robust security practices in handling sensitive user data
