Applications Developer 4

Oracle is seeking an experienced Applications Developer 4 for their PeopleSoft development team in Thiruvananthapuram, India. This role is part of Oracle's India Development Centre (IDC), responsible for the complete lifecycle of product conceptualization to design and development of PeopleSoft applications used by over 5000 large enterprises globally.

The position focuses on supporting key PeopleSoft HCM projects and building new features. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies including mobility, analytics, Chatbot, and AI/ML while collaborating with teams worldwide. The role involves analyzing, designing, developing, and debugging software programs for commercial applications.

As a senior member of the software engineering division, you'll be responsible for integrating customer specifications, implementing changes to existing software architecture, and building new products. The work is complex and non-routine, requiring advanced technical skills and the ability to provide direction and mentoring to others.

The ideal candidate should have 8+ years of programming experience, strong knowledge of PeopleSoft tools and technologies, excellent database concepts, and good programming skills.
