Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure (OHAI) is seeking a Consulting member of Technical Staff to join their Customer Operations and Product Support Organization. The role involves designing and building platforms that empower the business with data for decision-making. Key responsibilities include implementing large-scale data platforms, collaborating with product teams, building scalable infrastructure, mentoring junior engineers, and creating engineering standards. The ideal candidate should have 8-10 years of experience in developing enterprise-distributed systems, strong coding skills in Java or Python, and experience with cloud technologies and microservices frameworks. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact in healthcare by developing patient- and provider-centric solutions using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
Responsibilities For Consulting member of Technical Staff
- Design and implement large-scale data platforms, reporting, and operational tools
- Collaborate with product teams to understand how to reduce operational toil safely
- Build scalable and efficient infrastructure to support real-time monitoring and analysis of business data
- Mentor and help grow junior engineers across different product teams
- Create engineering and operations standard methodologies for the organization
- Collaborate with architects across the business to ensure high-quality and reliable products for customers
Requirements For Consulting member of Technical Staff
- BS or MS degree in computer science, or equivalent
- 8-10 years of developing and shipping enterprise-distributed and cloud-native systems
- Strong grasp of system design fundamentals and distributed systems architectural best practices
- Demonstrated ability to write great code in Java, Python, or similar OO languages
- Experience with web application development using microservices frameworks
- Experience with Public Cloud SaaS, PaaS Services and related technology
- Experience with containers and container orchestration technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
- Strong desire to make an impact and thrive in collaborative environments
- Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts verbally and through design aspects
