Developer Evangelist

This role is a mix of being a developer, an architect, and an evangelist, actively engaging with the Spring community to understand their current microservices applications, design patterns, and data architectures. The Developer Evangelist will design proof of concepts, create sample code/applications and hands-on-labs, write technical blogs, and present at industry forums. They will closely partner with Product Managers and sales teams to influence developers, architects, CTO, CDO, and CIO.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Masters degree in a related field like computer science
• 10 or more years of related experience
• Strong technical skills and a passion for delivery
• Natural talent for networking and rapport building
• Enthusiastic, proactive approach to learning
• Persuasive communication skills
• Versatility and adaptability
• Project management skills

Responsibilities include:

• Engaging with the developer community to increase awareness of Oracle's microservices and AI offerings
• Building relationships with influencers, potential customers, and partners
• Collecting and providing feedback to the product team
• Representing Oracle at events and conferences
• Delivering product demos and presentations
• Contributing to Oracle's Spring framework and products
• Creating content for the developer community
