Field Engineer

Oracle is seeking a skilled Field Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This role combines hands-on technical expertise with customer-facing responsibilities in managing and maintaining critical data center infrastructure. The position requires a strong background in IT infrastructure support and server administration, with experience handling environments of 200-1000+ server systems.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems (or equivalent experience) and 3-5+ years of relevant experience. This role demands expertise in both hardware and software aspects of data center operations, including system board repair, structured cabling, and basic knowledge of data center design including electrical and cooling systems.

As a Field Engineer, you'll be responsible for maintaining mission-critical operations, providing technical solutions to internal customers, and working with cross-functional teams. The position involves on-call duties, requiring the ability to reach the data center within 60 minutes when needed. Strong communication skills in English are essential, as you'll be interacting with diverse groups of customers and staff.
