At Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure (OHAI), we are seeking a Lead Data Scientist to drive the modernization of our Revenue Cycle product portfolio through AI-native applications. This is a unique opportunity to revolutionize healthcare technology by leveraging AI/ML and Generative AI to improve healthcare delivery and data accessibility globally.
The role combines the excitement of a startup environment with the stability of Oracle's established infrastructure. You'll be working on greenfield projects, designing and building new AI-native cloud applications from the ground up. As a Lead Data Scientist, you'll be instrumental in architecting, developing, and deploying state-of-the-art models for our Revenue Cycle product suite, focusing on challenges like medical language learning, contract interpretation, and risk detection.
You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop sophisticated AI solutions using cutting-edge technologies, including large language models, RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) systems, and deep learning models. Responsibilities For Lead Data Scientist - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure
- Design and develop strategy for medical language learning through language models
- Design medical code and group code using large language models
- Transform rules and workflows into decision trees using deep learning ML models
- Work with Engineering team on training data acquisition strategy
- Design, develop, and optimize RAG models
- Fine-tune and optimize large language models
- Implement cutting-edge NLP, NLU, and NLG techniques
- Collaborate with engineers to integrate ML models into production systems
Requirements For Lead Data Scientist - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or related experience
- 10+ years of experience in data science
- Strong programming skills in Python and proficiency with ML libraries
- Experience with cloud platforms and containerization technologies
- Solid understanding of NLP fundamentals
- Expertise in developing RAG models and fine-tuning large language models
- Strong communication skills
- Experience taking a product or platform from 0 to 1
