Description For Member of Technical Staff

Oracle is seeking a Member of Technical Staff to join their Java Client Engineering Team. This role involves working on Java platform client libraries and deployment technologies, including graphical UI toolkits and graphics APIs. The ideal candidate will have 0 to 2+ years of experience in software development, with strong skills in C/C++ and/or Java. Key responsibilities include enhancing existing implementations, adding new functionality, and working on deployment and distribution technologies. Responsibilities For Member of Technical Staff

Apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture
Perform software development tasks
Develop, debug, and design software applications or operating systems
Build enhancements within existing software architecture
Suggest improvements to the architecture

Requirements For Member of Technical Staff

Java

Linux

C/C++ and/or Java coding skills
Knowledge of design patterns and coding standard methodologies
In-depth understanding of multithreading
Experience in 2D and/or 3D graphics
Experience in UI toolkit like JavaFX, Swing, AWT
Experience designing and implementing commercial software systems
Diagnosing complex technical problems
Understanding of software development processes
Minimum one year commercial experience in C/C++ or Java
Solid written and verbal English language skills
