NACI Oracle Cloud Data Platform Resident Architect

As an Oracle Cloud Engineering Resident Architect, you will be responsible for working with Oracle's most strategic customers to coach, mentor, and lead them through their cloud journey to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). The role involves a combination of architecture level mentoring and technical advisory covering design, migration, implementation, and maintenance. You will work closely with Oracle's most strategic customers in North America, focusing on cloud architecture and assisting them in migrating their Oracle Database estate, Oracle Packaged Applications, and VMware estate to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in migration, re-platforming, and rehosting of databases or applications from on-premises to cloud infrastructure. Experience with at least one major cloud infrastructure provider (OCI, AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) is required. You will be responsible for documenting customer environments, analyzing technical demands, exploring migration alternatives, and facilitating technology awareness sessions.

Key responsibilities include designing and building out OCI Modern Data Platform solutions, implementing Proof-of-Concepts, and providing architectural guidance for successful cloud deployments. You will partner closely with Oracle Sales teams and Enterprise Architects to enable large-scale customer use cases and drive OCI solution adoption.

The role requires strong communication skills, the ability to work with C-level executives, and a deep understanding of cloud security principles. You will be part of Oracle's Cloud Engineering team, contributing to solution design and implementation while ensuring high-quality, integrated software solutions.
