Network Developer Engineer

As a Network Development Engineer on the Oracle Infrastructure Engineering Services (IES), Network Operations & Reliability Engineering team, you will be responsible for managing and developing cloud infrastructure services for Oracle's SaaS customers. The role combines hands-on network engineering with development work, focusing on creating tools for change validation, service health monitoring, and performance metrics collection. You'll work with a globally distributed team supporting Oracle's cloud infrastructure and private VPN connections for customers.

The position requires expertise in network operations, automation, and cloud technologies. You'll be handling change requests, service fulfillment, incident response, and problem management. The role involves significant automation work using Python and other technologies to improve operational efficiency. You'll be working with various network protocols and systems, including Cisco IOS/NX-OS, BGP, MPLS, and cloud services.
