Description For Principal Technical Program Manager - Strategic Customers

Oracle is building a best-in-class next-generation cloud that supports the most demanding mission-critical customer requirements, operating at cloud scale to provide a secure, distributed, multi-tenant cloud environment.

The Principal Technical Program Manager role will be embedded in the OCI Product Management team for cross-service product management & enabling and onboarding our largest, most complex customers. You will provide expertise in data management, analysis, technology, and processes ensuring operational success. The work is non-routine, complex, and involves the application of technical, interpersonal, and business skills.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Executing data engineering processes from understanding business requirements to model development and evaluation
  • Working with stakeholders to prioritize business and information needs
  • Managing multiple data projects through project lifecycles
  • Solving business and technical problems using data methodologies and creative modeling techniques
  • Facilitating cross-silo communications and decision making
  • Managing project-level plans, issues/risks, and status

Required skills and experience:

  • 6+ years of program management, business analytics, or data engineering
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience with SQL and BI tools (e.g., OBIEE, PowerBI, APEX)
  • Strong organizational, presentation, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to synthesize complex elements into crisp stories for various audiences
  • Familiarity with cloud concepts, terminology, and tech stacks
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Data Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
