Senior DevOps Engineer- Autonomous Database (Join OCI-Ns2)

Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) National Security Sector Group is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join their Autonomous Database Team. This role is critical in building and operating large-scale distributed infrastructure for cloud services, specifically focusing on the cloud service framework powering Oracle Autonomous Database services including ADW and ATP.

The position requires a TS/SCI w/Poly Security Clearance and U.S. citizenship, as it supports Oracle's Government customers. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you'll be responsible for defining and deploying autonomous database services, with a deep focus on architecture, production operations, capacity planning, performance management, and release engineering.

The role involves working with Oracle's cutting-edge cloud technology stack, from database kernel to cloud service platform and customer-facing portals. You'll be part of a dynamic team that automates deployment, scaling, and management of databases in the cloud, while ensuring reliability and performance at scale.

Key responsibilities include incident management, service maintenance, code deployment, and implementing automation and self-healing systems. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with Linux, cloud platforms, and Oracle Database technology, along with development skills in Python, shell scripting, and SQL.
