As a Senior Principal Engineer in the OCI MULTICLOUD team, you'll be at the forefront of building large-scale distributed cloud infrastructure focused on decentralized data sources and edge devices. We're building a multi-regional software development team to tackle unique challenges in distributed multi-tenant architecture. You'll apply your expertise to design and build innovative systems from scratch, working with best-in-class integrated compute, storage, networking, database, security, and expanding cloud-based services.

Your role involves close collaboration with software engineers across cloud service teams to develop secure, efficient, and fundamentally sound services and infrastructure. Your influence on the overall system architecture design is crucial. We're looking for someone with comprehensive knowledge of the software, hardware, and network stack, plus deep expertise in specific areas. You should be intellectually curious, excited about solving complex problems in massive systems, and value simplicity and usability alongside security.
