Description For Site Reliability Developer 3

Building off our Cloud momentum, Oracle has formed a new organization - Oracle Health Applications & Infrastructure. This team will focus on product development and product strategy for Oracle Health, while building out a complete platform supporting modernized, automated healthcare. This is a net new line of business, constructed with an entrepreneurial spirit that promotes an energetic and creative environment.

As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will solve interesting technical challenges by defining, designing, deploying, and troubleshooting key Oracle Health Core Platform Operations (OHCPO) products, and infrastructure, always thinking about reliability, scalability, resilience, security, and performance. With our product transitions already underway to migrate to OCI, you will have a unique opportunity to work with current state architectures as well as help to influence the architecture path forward in OCI.

The ideal candidate for this engaging and visible technical leadership role would have the experience of a developer, the wits of a systems and infrastructure expert, and the motivation to be a spirited "closer". You will be part of the SRE team, whose mission is the shared full stack ownership of a collection of services and technology areas, working closely with Development partners.

Responsibilities For Site Reliability Developer 3

  • Provision and deprovision resources for efficient system operations
  • Design and implement architecture, networking, and system configurations
  • Monitor applications to ensure high availability and reliability
  • Troubleshoot and resolve reported problems
  • Collaborate on migration to OCI, including database migration
  • Develop and implement security measures
  • Plan and execute data migrations
  • Define, design, create, and maintain scalable applications
  • Provide maintenance of various environments
  • Communicate scale, capacity, security, and performance requirements
