As a member of the Support organization at Oracle, your focus will be on delivering post-sales support and solutions to the Oracle customer base while serving as an advocate for customer needs. This role involves resolving post-sales non-technical customer inquiries via phone and electronic means, as well as technical questions regarding the use of and troubleshooting for Electronic Support Services. As a primary point of contact for customers, you will be responsible for facilitating customer relationships with Support and providing advice and assistance to internal Oracle employees on diverse customer situations and escalated issues.
As a Principal Support Engineer, you will offer strategic technical support to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction. A key focus is creating and utilizing automated technology and instrumentation to diagnose, document, and resolve/avoid customer issues. You are expected to be an expert member of the technical problem-solving team, routinely sought after to address extremely complex, critical customer issues.
The role is part of the IDM (Identity Management) product support within the FMw support organization, catering to service requirements for end customers, partners, and Oracle internal teams. The IDM product suite is a key strategic suite for customers' security requirements.
The ideal candidate should have relevant middleware-related skills, container skills, Identity management expertise (particularly in OAM and OUD), and Kubernetes knowledge. Strong customer satisfaction skills, analytical troubleshooting abilities, and the capacity to cooperate within local teams and with global team members are essential.
