Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) - OSTTRA Hybrid

OSTTRA is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their global SRE team, which provides technical support across OSTTRA's suite of financial products. This role is crucial in maintaining high-performance, resilient platforms that process over 100 million messages daily in global trade processing.

The position requires 4-7 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering or Application Support, with a focus on platform support and project management. Based in New York, you'll work in a hybrid environment collaborating with teams across multiple global regions. The role combines technical expertise with business acumen, requiring strong problem-solving skills and excellent communication abilities.

Key responsibilities include capacity management, operational support design, incident handling, and disaster recovery planning. You'll work closely with development and infrastructure teams to ensure platform supportability and readiness for new releases. The role requires expertise in various technologies including Java, Python, SQL, Linux, and Kubernetes.

OSTTRA, formed in 2021, is a joint venture between S&P Global and CME Group, combining four major post-trade businesses: MarkitServ, Traiana, TriOptima, and Reset. The company plays a vital role in global financial markets, connecting thousands of market participants to streamline end-to-end workflows from trade capture to settlement.
