Software Engineer - Frontend Developer Productivity

Palantir Technologies is seeking a Software Engineer focused on Frontend Developer Productivity to join their Frontend Infrastructure group. This role is perfect for passionate engineers who want to improve the quality and efficiency of frontend development at Palantir.

As a Frontend Developer Productivity Engineer, you'll work on identifying, developing, and driving investments to enhance the velocity and quality of engineering across the entire frontend development stack. Your responsibilities will include:

1. Designing tools and infrastructure for building performant applications
2. Extending Gradle-based build tooling to improve build times
3. Providing support to other developers through various channels
4. Working on core infrastructure for frontend development, including feature flags, internationalization, and commit previews
5. Contributing to the GraphQL API for declarative data loading
6. Maintaining and improving Blueprint, Palantir's open-source UI framework

You'll work with technologies such as TypeScript, SCSS, Java, React, GraphQL, Gradle, Webpack, CircleCI, and GitHub. The ideal candidate should have:

• 2+ years of software engineering experience
• Strong coding skills in JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, C++, Python, or similar languages
• Great problem-solving abilities and familiarity with data structures and distributed systems
• Strong communication skills and a passion for helping other developers
