Parity, a pioneering blockchain infrastructure company founded by Ethereum co-founder Dr. Gavin Wood, is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer to join their remote-first team. The company is at the forefront of Web3 technology, developing crucial infrastructure including Polkadot, Substrate, and Kusama.

The SRE team plays a vital role in maintaining and scaling Parity's development, testing, and production environments. As an SRE, you'll work with cutting-edge cloud-native technologies and directly impact the reliability of Polkadot's decentralized network. The position involves managing cloud infrastructure using Terraform and Kubernetes in GCP, developing CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring system security and performance.

This role is perfect for engineers who are passionate about blockchain technology and infrastructure automation. You'll be working in an environment that values autonomy, accountability, and continuous learning. The position offers the opportunity to work with advanced technologies while contributing to the future of decentralized web infrastructure.

Key responsibilities include designing cloud infrastructure, automating deployment processes, optimizing containerized workloads, and implementing security best practices. You'll collaborate with developers across the company to ensure smooth deployment of applications and maintain high system availability.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in DevOps/SRE, expertise with cloud-native technologies, and proficiency in Python or Rust. Knowledge of blockchain technology is a plus. Benefits include healthcare (in select countries), parental leave, PTO, and professional development opportunities.
