Description For Field Service Engineer

ParkIT is seeking a skilled Field Service Engineer with electrical and mechanical engineering expertise to join their UK-based Service and Customer Support Team. This remote role involves installing, servicing, and supporting ParkIT's range of products onsite at client premises, primarily in the UK with occasional international travel.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Installing and servicing hardware solutions like automatic barriers, CCTV, and access control platforms
  • Diagnosing and repairing faults on-site
  • Collaborating with internal teams for swift issue resolution
  • Conducting risk assessments and managing stock
  • Supporting larger projects and upgrades
  • Providing on-call cover on a rotational basis

The ideal candidate should have:

  • Experience in field-based customer service engineering, preferably in Security Systems or Access Control
  • Knowledge of IT hardware and software
  • Full, clean UK driving license
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders for swift resolutions
  • Conduct dynamic risk assessments
  • Manage stock accurately
  • Support larger projects and upgrades
  • Travel across the UK and occasionally to Europe

Requirements For Field Service Engineer

  • Experience in field-based customer service engineering
  • Background in Security Systems or Access Control support
  • Knowledge of IT hardware and software
