Description For CUAS Software Engineer

Parsons Corporation is seeking a CUAS (Counter Unmanned Aerial System) Software Engineer to join their team in a remote capacity. This role focuses on developing software solutions for detecting, tracking, identifying, and defeating drone threats. As part of a multi-disciplinary team of scientists and engineers, you'll work on integrating various sensors and components into a Command & Control system.

The position offers a competitive salary range of $100,900 - $176,600 and requires 3-8 years of experience in software development. You'll be working with technologies like Java, C++, and Python, while applying machine learning techniques to improve drone detection systems. Responsibilities For CUAS Software Engineer

  • Write, code, document, and test software applications that interface with other systems
  • Develop backend service functions and front end user interface functions
  • Apply machine learning techniques to improve UAS detection and categorization
  • Develop digital twins of sensors and targets
  • Design quality control and test procedures
  • Configure, test and debug software
  • Develop elements of modular integrated Command and Control (C2) solution

Requirements For CUAS Software Engineer

Java
Python
  • 3-8 years of software development experience
  • Experience with Java, C++, and Python
  • Experience with DevSecOps tools including Jira and Bitbucket (GIT)
  • Experience developing interfaces using Restful Services, WebSockets
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • 10% domestic and international travel required
