Parsons is seeking a Systems Operations (SysOps) Engineer to join their Space Operations Directorate, focusing on supporting United States Space Command agency. Responsibilities For Systems Operations (SysOps) Engineer

  • Deploy and configure software/hardware releases to classified/unclassified environments
  • Maintain systems and configure operating systems and software products
  • Install required software patches and security updates
  • Provide system support and problem resolution
  • Create and troubleshoot accounts
  • Perform system backups and maintenance
  • Participate in on-call support
  • Ensure system security posture is maintained

Requirements For Systems Operations (SysOps) Engineer

Linux

  • Bachelor's Degree in technical discipline or 6 years equivalent experience
  • 8+ years of Information Technology System Administration experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud tools
  • Experience with client account management support
  • Advanced knowledge in configuring and managing hardware environments
  • Support common Operating Systems (Windows Server/Workstation, Linux)
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Minimum Secret clearance required to start
  • Able to obtain DoD 8570 Certification
