Description For Software Engineer

PayPal is seeking a Software Engineer to join their Risk department in Tel Aviv, focusing on developing and maintaining cutting-edge risk detection and prevention systems. As part of the Global Fraud Risk - Automation team, you'll work on transforming research into real products that protect PayPal's users and merchants from financial loss.

The role combines software engineering with risk management, requiring expertise in Python, React, NodeJS, JavaScript, and SQL. You'll be developing solutions that leverage machine learning and data analytics to identify and mitigate potential risks. The position offers a hybrid work model with 3 days in office and 2 days flexible.

The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience with a Bachelor's degree (or 2+ years with a Master's) in computer science or engineering. Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms is essential. Experience with big data technology and machine learning applications is a plus.
