Description For Software Security Engineer

PayPal is seeking a talented Software Security Engineer to join their Cryptography Platform team. This role combines software engineering with security expertise, focusing on building and maintaining next-generation cryptography services that protect PayPal's critical data both at rest and in transit. The position offers an opportunity to work with a global financial technology leader that processes transactions for hundreds of millions of merchants and consumers worldwide.

The role involves designing, developing, and deploying security software services in both onsite and cloud environments. You'll be responsible for creating highly available, scalable, and durable software services to support PayPal's global growth. The position requires expertise in Java and Node.js development within Linux/Unix environments, with a focus on security and cryptography implementations.

PayPal offers a balanced hybrid work model with 3 days in the office and 2 days flexible between office or home workspace.
