Senior Performance Test Engineer

PayPay Securities, part of the PayPay Group, is seeking a Senior Performance Test Engineer to join their team. As a key player in PayPay's financial ecosystem, the company has launched "Point Management" with over 10 million users and "PayPay Asset Management," the first initiative in Japan enabling asset management on a payment application. The role involves collaborating with engineers, designers, and QAs to build a new organization within PayPay Securities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing and maintaining performance testing framework components
• Developing comprehensive performance testing strategies
• Collaborating with engineering and product management teams
• Executing load, stress, stability, and scalability testing
• Analyzing and documenting test results
• Driving performance and load test operations towards a CI pipeline model
• Coaching junior performance analysts

The ideal candidate should have:

• 5+ years of experience in performance testing and analysis
• Strong understanding of performance test methodologies
• Experience with tools like JMeter, LoadRunner, and Gatling
• Proficiency in CI/CD tools
• Excellent data analysis and communication skills
• Business-level proficiency in English or Japanese
