Description For Software Engineer (Anti-Fraud Engineer)

As an Anti-Fraud Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in the company's security infrastructure, developing and maintaining risk assessment systems that protect users while ensuring a seamless experience.

The position involves working with cutting-edge technologies including Scala, Python, and various AWS/GCP services to build sophisticated fraud detection systems. You'll be responsible for developing APIs that assess and block suspicious transactions, implement eKYC anti-social force determination systems, and create detection mechanisms for account takeover attempts.

Responsibilities For Software Engineer (Anti-Fraud Engineer)

  • Develop and operate risk assessment APIs within the PayPay app using SaaS services
  • Develop APIs to block transactions when risks are detected based on request content and transaction aggregation results
  • Perform coding using Scala, CQL, and Python
  • Handle end-to-end process from negotiation with other teams to specification, development, testing, monitoring, and operations
