Lead Developer - Plugins CMS/PHP

Payplug, a leading French payment solution provider, is seeking a Lead Developer to join their Plugins Squad. This role sits at the intersection of technical leadership and hands-on development, focusing on payment modules for major e-commerce CMS platforms.

The position offers an exciting opportunity to lead a diverse team of 5 internal and 1 external collaborators, while working with partner agencies to maintain and enhance Payplug's ecosystem of payment modules. The role is crucial in serving 17,000 SMEs and major clients like Maisons du Monde and Veepee, demonstrating the significant impact of the work.

As Lead Developer, you'll be responsible for driving technical excellence across all plugin projects, mentoring team members, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality payment solutions. The role involves close collaboration with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, UX designers, QA teams, and Support staff to realize Payplug's vision of creating the market's most efficient and user-friendly payment modules.

The technical aspects of the role focus on PHP development, working with major e-commerce platforms like Magento 2, WooCommerce, and PrestaShop. You'll be involved in implementing innovative features such as split payments, Apple Pay integration, and direct refund capabilities, while maintaining shared libraries to ensure consistency across modules.
