Description For Senior Data Engineer

Perchwell, a venture-backed modern real estate listings platform, is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to spearhead their data engineering initiatives. As a foundational member of the team working from their SoHo NYC office 3 days/week, you'll be instrumental in building and scaling data infrastructure to support nationwide Multiple Listing Services (MLS) expansion.

The role focuses on creating robust data solutions that transform Perchwell into the industry's leading platform for managing and analyzing real estate listing data. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including Data Insights, Product, and Design to build data pipelines that handle millions of property listings and market insights.

Requirements For Senior Data Engineer

Kotlin
  • 4+ years of hands-on data engineering expertise with Python, SQL, or Kotlin
  • Experience with workflow orchestration using tools like Airflow, Dagster, or Prefect
  • Experience with cloud architecture (AWS) and technologies including S3, SQS, RDS, EMR, Glue, Athena, and Lambda
  • Experience working with data warehouses: redshift, snowflake, ClickHouse or google bigquery
  • Experience building CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, GitHub actions, Terraform, or Jenkins
  • Understanding of microservices architecture and cloud data lake solutions
  • Exceptional communication skills
