Pharmacy2U, the UK's largest online pharmacy, is seeking a Front-End Software Engineer to join their tech team in Leeds with a hybrid working arrangement. The role involves developing and improving solutions using React.js, Next.js, and .NET Microservice API calls within a team of 5-10 Front-End Developers. You'll be crucial in developing components for marketing teams through Storyblok CMS, reviewing code, and shaping technical direction. Responsibilities For Software Engineer - Front End
- Develop components for use by Marketing teams through the Storyblok CMS
- Scope components and understand requirements from Marketing and Product teams
- Review and help shape technical direction of products through code review system
- Suggest improvements and assist junior developers
Requirements For Software Engineer - Front End
- Extensive experience working commercially with React, TypeScript and/or Next.JS
- Knowledge of responsive web design with a mobile first approach
- Knowledge of API integrations
- Experience in writing reusable code
- Knowledge of source control such as Git/Azure DevOps
- Understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues
- Good understanding of SEO principles
- Experience using Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Experience with Storyblok CMS or equivalent
- Knowledge of TailwindCSS
- Experience in E-commerce
- Experience writing Technical Documentation
