Intern - Software Engineer

Pixelogic Media Partners, LLC is seeking a Software Engineering Intern to join their team in Burbank, California. This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the film and TV post-production industry.

As an Intern Software Engineer, you'll be part of a team that develops advanced media services and tools to characterize, interpret, transcode, validate, and transform audio, video, images, and text. You'll work in an agile environment, collaborating with senior developers to design, develop, and maintain software applications that process video, audio, and subtitle contents.

Key responsibilities include:

• Developing, testing, and maintaining on-premises or AWS services
• Assisting in software application development and maintenance
• Debugging and troubleshooting software issues
• Documenting software designs and coding procedures
• Performing unit tests and participating in code reviews

This 12-week internship provides comprehensive training and mentorship, allowing you to apply your knowledge in a practical setting. You'll gain valuable skills in programming languages like Python, C#, and C++, as well as experience with Linux, Git, and modern software development methodologies.

To be successful in this role, you should be a recent graduate or currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or a related field. Strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work collaboratively are essential.
