Experienced Software Engineer - Key Access

Plaid, a leading financial technology company, is seeking an Experienced Software Engineer to join their Key Access team. The position is based in San Francisco with a hybrid work arrangement, offering a competitive salary range of $202,800 to $330,000, along with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and equity compensation. As a member of the Key Access team, you'll be at the forefront of developing AI-powered infrastructure that fundamentally transforms how financial data is accessed and processed at scale.

Your responsibilities will include designing and implementing large-scale backend systems, building AI-powered data pipelines, and creating real-time services that extend Plaid's reach across the global financial ecosystem. You'll own the full product lifecycle, from problem framing to production deployment, while working closely with product, data-science, and data-engineering partners.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in building and managing AI/ML-powered tools in production, excellent coding and testing skills, and a proven track record of leading multi-quarter projects. Technical expertise in technologies like Golang, Node, Python, SQL, and AWS is valued, though not required.
