This role combines technical expertise in Microsoft security solutions with strategic consulting for enterprise customers. The position focuses on implementing and managing Azure security services, particularly the Microsoft Defender suite, while working on impactful projects that benefit the country.

Responsibilities For Azure Security Engineer

  • Support impactful projects for public sector clients
  • Deploy Defender services and implement Azure Tenant Hardening
  • Manage Microsoft Defender tools
  • Implement secure network architectures
  • Configure and enforce compliance policies and audit controls
  • Develop and manage IaC templates for Azure deployments
  • Assess, plan, and design security and compliance capabilities
  • Work with enterprise customers to modernize cybersecurity
  • Gather customer insights and work with stakeholders
  • Contribute to Microsoft-centric operations

Requirements For Azure Security Engineer

  • Experience with Microsoft Defender suite (Office 365, Cloud Apps, Endpoints, Cloud)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Leadership skills for technical communities
  • Strong analytical and diagnostic skills
  • Project management experience
  • Ability to implement technologies in complex enterprise environments
  • US Citizenship (clearable for security clearance)
