Polaron, a spin-out from Imperial College London, is seeking a Software Engineer to join their innovative team. Founded by Isaac Squires, Dr. Steve Kench, and Dr. Sam Cooper, Polaron aims to harness engineering, artificial intelligence, and materials science to build the materials of the future.
As the first software engineer on the team, you'll work alongside the CEO, CTO, Chief Scientist, and Head of Engineering. This role offers significant autonomy and influence over the development and direction of the platform and product. You'll be instrumental in building a SaaS product that allows materials engineers to leverage cutting-edge AI in their work.

This is primarily an in-person role based in the East London office, with the team working at least four days a week on-site. The salary range is £60,000-£75,000 GBP, with 0.1-0.5% equity, depending on experience.
